Juls has a unique way to train or coach. From the beginning, we got to learn my habits - good and bad - it didn’t matter. Once we started we focused on basics: breathing, hydration and kept a log of what I was eating and drinking. We would look at all this as time went on.


 I don’t want to bore you with details of how it worked for me. Juls gives you 100% focus during one on one time, but it’s the whole body/mind/soul that she makes clear is important to understand. 


I know my efforts were very up and down. It became and is a matter of taking time to breathe, to focus on yourself. As in my case, you get lost in life losing your focus of caring for one’s self. 


Once Juls gets you on target, the habit of health comes shining through. Instead of a chore, it becomes a time you look forward to. I now find training/etc as more of a stress relief. 


Thank you Juls. To me you are much more than a trainer. Thank you for all the guidance on this Great Journey of Life.

In 2019, I had been taking spin classes with my neighbors who were older than me. I thought if they could spin, I could also. At 64, retired, and 300 lbs (give or take), I got interested in group activities with others my age. 


Talking with someone with great interests in moving for better health, I became a member of Juls’ Stretch + Mobility class. Our group was mixed ages, sizes and abilities. It wasn’t long after that Juls and I sat together with discussion of our trainer/trainee relationship. 


Over 4 years later (with a mix of Covid, vacationing, work obligations) I continued a journey I want to keep for life. My doctor says I’m the healthiest 68 year old of all his patients, and I stopped my Jardiance (blood sugar reducer) saving me $2000 a year. 


Oh, my weight is now under 240 lbs and my goals are enjoying my new life journey, moving and eating to live…not living to eat. I love using everything I’ve learned and continue to search out for positive people.


 Juls is still my nucleus to my energy for improvement.

Juls is special. I’ve worked with her for several years. She challenges me, but does not push that to “uncomfortable”. She is always positive and supportive. 


She makes me want to do more and be in better condition and she encourages me in ways that motivate. She makes sure I am ready to go before we start with a proper warmup, and that I do not do more than is good for me. 


She varies the programming thoughtfully. I leave every session with a feeling of accomplishment, but I am challenged in a positive way to do more the next time. 


She is fun to talk with throughout our sessions and is smart and insightful. The hour workout goes quickly, and I always look forward to our next session.

I began training Feb 1, 2024 with the goal of losing weight, toning up and just improving my overall health. 


I have lost 15 lbs in 3 months. A lot of it is my diet, but a huge part of it is Juls. She is an amazing trainer who will push you, but only if she knows you can do it. She will never throw you into something you are not ready for or can’t do. 


She also cares a great deal about your nutrition and will give you advice/tips on your specific diet needs. In my opinion, she cares about the total package of diet, stretching exercise and your overall well-being. 


She is very passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about her clients. She wants to help change their life for the better. 


I know she is doing that for me and I’m so grateful for her. I would recommend her to anyone.

Coach Juls - Thank you for everything you have done for me since before I was a teenager. 


Even though we had a little break in our timeline together, you still helped me, immensely, behind the scenes. Thank you for teaching me about nutrition and about a fierce mindset. 


Everything that you have educated me on goes far beyond the gym, it applies to overall life concepts. I am forever grateful for all the time we spend together in the gym as I walk out learning something new, whether that is a new movement or a new outlook on a situation.

I started training with Juls a couple years ago and am still continuing it and noticed a great change in my structure and my confidence. 


I enjoy training because I am a person who needs to be pushed sometimes in order to be the best version of myself, and I can always count on getting that when I train in the gym with Juls. 


I have learned many things about the gym and how to use the equipment, but also learned life lessons that will take you far in life. She is a very caring person and always makes sure you are feeling good as soon as you get into the gym. 


If you are someone like me who needs a little push to get the job done, and want to feel more confident about their body and health, I recommend training with Juls.

I am a 63 year old female and grandmother of 8. I am very active [personally and professionally and a non-stop person. Juls has been working with my husband who had a knee replacement and needs an ankle replacement and struggles with his weight. So I decided why not join in, for everyone needs proper training to stay fit.


 Training with Juls has certainly been an eye opening experience. You think you’re in good shape until you start exercising, working new muscles and those that haven’t been properly stretched out in a long time. It’s a tough workout but the satisfaction you feel is amazing and certainly worth it. 


I have so much more mobility, feel stronger, am becoming much more toned and mostly feel so much more energy and more in shape than I have felt in a long time. I want to be able to keep up with those beautiful grandchildren in my life and it is really working for me. 


Every week we work on different parts of the body, physically and mentally. Always a challenge, but when finished our workout session, I feel great satisfaction. 


Thank you Juls for you have made a terrific impact in my life just by teaching me mentally and physically how to exercise properly.
